The Best iPad Apps
1000s of innovative iApps have flooded the market within less that a year of the release of the Apple iPad to the general public. Some of these applications are better than others, and many of the most powerful iPad apps are designed for niche markets such as the healthcare industry or managing sales leads. However, there are still 100s of great iPad applications that just about everyone could find handy on a day-to-day basis. We’ve spent time trying out countless iPad applications to discover which apps we think that the average iPad user could use the most. Here is an inside look at three of the best iPad apps for the casual user.
DocsToGo Premium
No matter what line of business or academic study you happen to be in, the fact of the matter is that we are now more reliant than ever to having important documents at our fingertips. DocsToGo allows you to store all of the documents that you could ever possibly need in an intuitive format that makes pulling up a particular spreadsheet or PowerPoint on the fly incredibly easy. Dungeon Hunter
Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter app for the iPad probably looks like just about every other third person role playing game until you give it a try. However, just about everyone who spends a little bit of time exploring the world of Dungeon Hunter on the iPad finds it to be extremely fun and incredibly addictive. The game is very similar to previous games like Diablo and World of Warcraft, but Dungeon Hunter is especially designed for portable play, meaning that you can easily begin and end a gaming session whenever you have a few spare moments during your day. Dungeon Hunter is available for the iPad for about £4.50.
Epicurious
Regardless of whether you are a lifelong gourmand or are just beginning to explore the finer side of food, the Epicurious iPad application is a true treasure. Much like the Epicurious website, this iPad app lets you search for recipes through a wide variety of search functions including course, dish type, maid ingredients, spices and more. One of the best features of the Epicurious iPad app is that it automatically generates an editable shopping list as you go that you can refer to on your iPad when you are stopping to pick up groceries. The Epicurious iPad application is available for free.
