The painting was born the early year of 2006, under the name Palmer.
" I have always admired her ability to bring us the very touching stories of what is going on in our world and in our lives of today. I have painted this painting for her. Many attempts were made to try to send it to her. Over 170 to be precise, e-mail after e-mail.  I even went as far to e-mail Gail at O magazine, and told her she could have it if Oprah did not want it, no response. Well the painting is still in my possession It took me over 4 months to paint it, 2 canvases later and was the hardest one I had ever done, all from memory and starring at her over and over on the TV. What a job, but she was worth it. Put the word out so she can receive this painting. This one is not for sale."
